It’s just like high school
As I sat in the plant manager’s office today editing audio files, it struck me that this factory is a lot like an American high school in a lot of ways.

Most of the workers are young.  When the bell rings to mark the start of the noontime break, the halls are filled with happy people laughing and running to the cafeteria, and checking their cell phones for messages.

The small basketball court seems to be popular among the guys after lunch, and it is a beautiful sunny day here today — warm with a nice breeze — so it’s a great day for a game.

The only real pain in my ass today is that net connectivity between China and rokulabs.com seems to be really bad today.  Emails aren’t going through, and even access to our online forums is spotty.  It’s not the whole net.  Just Roku’s server.  Weird.

Incidentally, I’m finding some things to be frustrated about with iWeb.  It’s possible that I just don’t understand how it’s supposed to work, but it seems that there are some areas where I can’t edit what I want to edit, and that really annoys me.  I’m also finding that a Cinema Display would be pretty handy to help with all the palettes.  Even my 17” is a bit on the small side.

Speaking of high school, how do you like the pic above?  Actually, there was a good reason for this funny scene.  Poor Max had a problem with his foot, and could barely walk.  So, Delia and Bruce arranged alternative transportation.
